Use the app at your own risk

Boonpoint shows public-land data and lets you keep a private trip journal of your stays. It is not a substitute for on-site signage, local ranger districts, or your own judgment about whether a spot is legal, safe, or accessible. Closures happen faster than data refreshes. We disclaim liability for tickets, vehicle damage, injury, weather, wildlife, or any other consequence of camping anywhere you find through Boonpoint.

Subscriptions

• Monthly and yearly subscriptions auto-renew at the price shown until cancelled. Manage and cancel from Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
• Apple handles all billing through StoreKit. Refund requests go through Apple.

Account

Sign in with Apple is the only auth method. You're responsible for the security of the Apple ID you use to sign in. If you revoke Sign in with Apple from your iOS Settings, Boonpoint will sign you out locally on next launch.

Trip journal

• Your trip journal is private. Entries are created only after Boonpoint has verified you slept at the spot.
• Entries are stored on your device and in your personal iCloud private database. They are never shared with other users or with Boonpoint.

Community reviews & user content

• After Boonpoint verifies you were physically at a spot, you can post a public review (a star rating, a short note, optional photos, and optional "what's here" tags) to help other travelers. Reviews you post are shared publicly with other Boonpoint users and stored on our servers — unlike your trip journal, they are not private.
• Zero tolerance for objectionable content. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable, not to impersonate anyone, and not to post spam.
• Reporting and blocking. You can report any review and block its author from within the app. We review reports and remove content that violates these terms — and may eject the responsible user — within 24 hours. You can also email alexandratitus767@gmail.com.
• By posting a review — including any photos — you grant Boonpoint a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it within the app to other users. You can delete your reviews and photos at any time by deleting your account in the app. You remain responsible for what you post.

Your data

Your trip journal entries, photos, and notes belong to you. They stay in your private iCloud database — we don't have a license to them, we don't display them to anyone, and we don't use them to rank or train anything.

Termination

You can delete the app at any time. We can suspend access to a Boonpoint account if you violate these terms. iCloud-synced data remains in your private iCloud database until you delete it.
